I led the visual design on the updated estimates experience, including an attestation form and pay now options. Leveraging Primase, we delivered a clear UI/UX, and user testing consistently confirmed the experience felt clean and easy to navigate.

Through user testing, we discovered a simpler approach to processing information: patients navigate to a view payment options page, where they can choose to pay now or wait for a bill based on insurance coverage and preference. This mirrors a familiar shopping experience, with a checkout style page to confirm selections.

Required fields are marked with asterisks as a visual cue, and the submit button stays disabled until those fields are successfully completed. For legal compliance, patients must also check a box confirming they’ve read and understood the terms and conditions before submitting payment, after which they receive confirmation that their test is processing.

The initials field is required and marked with an asterisk as a visual cue. If a user attempts to submit without filling it in, they’re prompted with an error status asking them to enter their initials. Once submitted, the patient receives confirmation that their cost agreement is processing.
